It’s not every day that you get to combine one of your favorite hobbies with one of your favorite causes—but for Beall Financial and Insurance Services, the Chubb Charity Challenge provides exactly that opportunity.
In last year’s Chubb Charity Challenge, the Beall Financial and Insurance Services golf fivesome raised $9,000 for the American Cancer Society, bringing the total of Beall donations to the American Cancer Society to more than $75,000.
Beall Financial principal Richard Beall is an avid golfer—and the Chubb Charity Challenge allows him to put his strokes to work for the American Cancer Society, which provided tremendous support to his mother-in-law after she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2001.
“The American Cancer Society was there,” says Beall. “We didn’t forget.”
Each year the Chubb Charity Challenge brings together insurance agents, brokers, and customers from across North America to raise money for charity. Since its inception in 2000, the event has distributed $12 million to 5,000 charities. Last year alone, the total raised was just shy of $925,000.
“It’s pretty cool for me to see how excited our agents are being able to make the contributions,” says Chubb & Son Newport Beach branch manager Ed Rochford, who always forms part of the Beall Financial fivesome.
For Beall, the event is exciting as well. “It makes us feel good we have that opportunity,” he says.
Beall’s contributions were recently documented in a Chubb corporate video.
For more than 25 years, Beall Financial and Insurance Services, Inc., has been helping corporations and individuals protect their most important assets.
